Abstract

This research paper presents a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and ontological exploration of the ‘Theory of Silence’ and ‘Apophatic Philosophy of Language’ embedded within the prolific poetic universe of Sachchidanand Hiranand Vatsyayan ‘Agyeya’, a preeminent poet, novelist, and thinker of modern Hindi literature. In response to the contemporary crisis of increasing verbosity, semantic decay, and consumerist clamor in language, Agyeya establishes ‘silence’ as a potent philosophical and poetic tool.
