Peer review cannot detect all instances of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or undisclosed conflicts of interest, although JIRMI uses available tools and COPE-aligned procedures to identify and address such issues

If errors, ethical concerns, or integrity issues in a published article are identified post-publication — by readers, authors, editors, or third parties — JIRMI will investigate in accordance with COPE guidelines and may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction as warranted.

JIRMI requires authors to disclose any use of artificial intelligence tools (large language models, AI writing assistants, AI-based data analysis tools, AI image generators, etc.) in the preparation of their manuscripts. However:

JIRMI cannot independently verify the completeness or accuracy of AI-use disclosures made by authors
The presence of AI-assisted content in a published article does not imply JIRMI's endorsement of the quality or reliability of AI-generated outputs
Authors bear full and sole responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content in their manuscripts, regardless of whether AI tools were used in its preparation

JIRMI charges a submission fee to support editorial and publication operations. The following should be noted:

Payment of a submission fee does not guarantee acceptance, publication, or any specific editorial outcome
Submission fees are non-refundable once the manuscript enters the review process, regardless of the editorial decision (acceptance, revision, or rejection)
The fee structure, applicable amounts, and any fee-waiver provisions are communicated at the time of submission and may be updated from time to time
JIRMI does not accept payments in exchange for guaranteed publication — any such solicitation from third parties falsely representing JIRMI should be reported to editor@jirmi.in immediately

This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Disclaimer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, which includes:

Bombay City Civil Court — for civil matters within its pecuniary jurisdiction

High Court of Judicature at Bombay (Bombay High Court, Principal Seat) — for matters within its original or appellate jurisdiction
